SmartCare Home Help is a remote telecare option for people who need extra support in order to live an independent life in the comfort of their homes.
SmartCare Home Help is available on a trial basis for those with Learning Difficulties and Dementia.
The Service permits friends, family or support workers in the 'trusted network' to remotely 'visit' loved ones to assist with their care needs on a temporary basis or to 'switch on' the continuous monitoring service for short periods of time, so that full-time carers can take a break.
The temporary service is called 'Just a Minute' and is a lifeline for carers as well as service providers who wish to provide a comprehensive, cost effective home care solution.
